Mixed green salad with avocado, eggs and sweet onion vinaigrette
Chicken pot pie
Baked eggs with kale and pepperoni
A backyard visit from finches on a cold, but sunny winter day
Love, love, love my plain oatmeal with sliced bananas, sprinkled with cinnamon
Yesterday evening...the snow storm begins...
Nothing like chili on a cold, stormy night (topped with cheddar, sour cream, green onion and cilantro)
...and a cozy, bright fire to warm up the night.
A peek out the front door this morning...
and a view of our backyard from our upstairs window
It continues to snow as I write this post. It's a snow day for us and that means NO SCHOOL! The girls are still sleeping. I don't know how they can sleep through the noise of the snow-blowers in our neighborhood.
Is it snowing where you are? I know many parts of Canada and the USA are experiencing or expecting winter storms today and tomorrow. I hope that no matter where you are you are, you are warm and cozy. Happy Friday...have a safe and happy weekend!
How beautiful it is to look at all your pictures. That chilli is making me hungry:)

ReplyDeleteHi :) You made Chicken Pot Pie. I made it last year and it turned out, but I lost the recipe lol and that oatmeal in a mug looks so cute. Never tried it with bananas.

Love,
Denise, where the storm had forgotten to give us as much snow as I wanted! lol
I haven't seen the fireplace yet---how cozy wonderful it is!!! I especially love the salad with the chopped eggs....there is something about a hard-boiled egg that is so filling to me....
